Who I asked
All 198 sitting members of the Massachusetts House and Senate, plus every certified 2026 state-primary legislative candidate I could reach — sent July 13, 2026 by email, one question, reply deadline July 27.
The question
“What is your position on the repeal initiative? 1. I oppose repeal · 2. I support repeal · 3. Undecided / I want to learn more.” A one-line reply was all I required. Positions are recorded verbatim from each reply.
No response
Officials and candidates who do not reply by the deadline are published as “no response.” Any official can update their position at any time by emailing me; I correct the record promptly.
Site copy and analysis were drafted with AI assistance. I checked factual claims, numbers, and quotations against the cited sources. Survey positions are recorded exactly as officials gave them — not paraphrased, summarized, or generated.
